It has 5 strong magnets on the top of the shade. It does not fall even if the windows down all the way. However, I recommand you to tie the shade on the side of the window as shown video when you drive highway. It may fall because of air resistance. **Q: how many pieces it will come?** A: It comes one piece of car shade. **Q: Will it fit a 2018 suburban?** A: u can check the measurements (27" X 18.5") to check if it will cover up the whole window of your suburban. Otherwise if you are wondering if it will attach to the door of the suburban? then, depends if the metal is visible. In My Jeep Grand Cherokee (2014) it wouldn't go onto the door however it would fit onto the car body frame and works just as normal. check out my review with pics I posted after buying the item https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R274LIY4QPHR4G/ref=cm_cr_othr_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B07RC9PW29 **Q: Does it fit a 2012 Buick Verano back window?** A: Measure the window and check the dimensions to see if it fits ..remember the magnets are only on one side .. you may need to for a rear glass window but you can see thru it ..as far as doors one is enough ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Roadtrip Must Have *by on Reviewed in the United States May 6, 2024* This was a game changer item for a recent road trip we went on.Our little one is 19 months and screams when the sun shines directly into her eyes. So I bought a few options and this is the only one worth keeping.First, it covers the whole window where other leading products left huge gaps because they were so small. Secondly, it stayed in place and was easy to put up. Third, it blocked the sun well but still allowed enough visibility for the driver. This is now a permanent feature in our car. Highly recommend this product! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love these! *by on Reviewed in the United States September 8, 2024* I had other ones that were suction to the car window, but I hated that I could never roll down the window. I bought these, and I was super happy with how they worked! The magnets on the top attached to the metal frame, and the shade hangs over the door and Shields the sun. The only thing that I wish they were was a little bit darker, but not dark enough for you can’t see through them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome *by on Reviewed in the United States May 25, 2022* I really like how wide it is and the coverage on the window is great. My son is able to see outside while still able to have complete coverage from the sun. He's been able to sleep without the sun bothering him. The magnets are a little weak and the suction cups are also weak but it's fine I might just fix it later or get better suction cups ## Frequently Bought Together - ggomaART Car Side Window Sun Shade - Universal Reversible Magnetic Curtain for Baby and Kids with Sun Protection Block Damage from Direct Bright Sunlight, and Heat - 1 Piece of Black Mesh - Shynerk Baby Car Mirror, Safety Car Seat Mirror for Rear Facing Infant with Wide Crystal Clear View, Shatterproof, 360° Rotation, Crash Tested and Certified --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/179465471-car-side-window-sun-shade-universal-reversible-magnetic-curtain-baby](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/179465471-car-side-window-sun-shade-universal-reversible-magnetic-curtain-baby) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
