A: No!  this little bear does not have a growler!

**Q: Is this a good first bear for a baby to grow up with?**
A: I have collected Steiff teddy bears for mare than 50 years. This particular bear iS NOT A TOY, it is for adult collectors. Steiff has lots of teddy bears and animals made especially for infants and children. They make a precious teddy bear called "Happy Teddy", I believe is the name. Besr.is completely machine washable and  is soft with a really sweet face. I have given several as baby gifts. They may be ordered from Steiff directly or from Amazon.
