Unfortunately, I didn't see it until I had exasperated myself almost to the point of throwing the tips out the window. There aren't any instructions in the box and it looks simple. Each tip is lightly labeled L or R so at least you know where to start. I don't know why I got so turned around trying to install them before finding the video, other than to guess I got fixated on pushing the AirPod Pro tip through the small hole in the bottom of the tip. DON'T DO THIS! The small hole, which looks like a natural fit for the AirPod Pro post, has nothing to do with the post. The tip does NOT go over the tip at all. The entire thing simply slides over the body of the AirPod and the tip (post) is not involved in the install. Once I found the video and played it several times (wish they had it in slow motion, rather than at warp speed), I was finally able to figure it out. The AirPod Pro case will not close with the tips on, so don't waste your time trying. The pods can still charge with the case open. The tips come with two spare pair of tips and a small carrying case, since I'd guess they will wear out quickly if you are putting them on and taking them off in order to close the AirPod case. Now, what to do with the tips? I ordered a "BRG Compatible with Airpod Pro Case Cover" for $6. The case is soft rubber that covers the entire AirPod Pro case and has a small carabiner clip on it, which allows you to attach the small pouch that comes with the ear tips.
