The quality of this German-style medium roast flavor is vastly superior than many other brands. The aroma is pleasing, with an overall smooth and mellow taste. Overall, if you like a good cup of coffee to start the day, this is an excellent choice. We like the whole beans, but usually get the ground as it is more convenient. And while it is more expensive than many other brands, in our estimation, it is worth the price. Review: A perfectly responsible, efficient bag of coffee - Anyone who's been deployed, shopped at a US military commissary, or lived in Germany will recognize this. Europeans know coffee, and like most things in Germany, this coffee strikes a good balance between being bold yet staying in line. It's smooth and delicious and nutty, without being bitter or overbearing. The best 'every day' coffee. Shame it doesn't come in a bigger bag like 8 o'clock, and for a similar price! This will take you right back to your B-Hut in Afghanistan or other sunny destinations. ## Features - Pack of two, 17.6-ounce (total of - High quality coffee beans - Imported from Germany ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001GVIT9Q | | Best Sellers Rank | #99,526 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ( See Top 100 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ) #911 in Roasted Coffee Beans | | Brand | JACOB'S | | Brand Name | JACOB'S | | Caffeine Content Description | Caffeinated | | Caffeine Content Per Serving | 50 milligrams | | Coffee Blend Name | Kroenung | | Coffee Roast Level | Dark Roast | | Coffee Type | Coffee Bean | | Container Type | Bag | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 210 Reviews | | Item Dimensions | 4.5 x 7.5 x 2.5 inches | | Item Form | Whole Bean | | Item Package Weight | 1.03 kg | | Item Volume | 1040.95 ml | | Item Weight | 1.1 pounds | | Manufacturer | Jacob's Coffee | | Number of Items | 2 | | Number of Pieces | 2 | | Package Information | Bag | | Package Size Name | 17.6-Ounce Vacuum Packs (Pack of 2) | | Part Number | 400050805905 | | Roast Level | Dark Roast | | Size | 17.5 Ounce (Pack of 2) | | Sweetness Description | moderately sweet | | UPC | 773821351490 | | Unit Count | 35 Ounce | | Variety | Arabica | ## Product Details - **Brand:** JACOB'S - **Caffeine Content Description:** Caffeinated - **Item Form:** Whole Bean - **Package Information:** Bag - **Roast Level:** Dark Roast ## Images ![Jacobs Kroenung Aroma-Bohnen (Kroenung Whole Bean Coffee), 17.6-Ounce Vacuum Packs (Pack of 2) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41AKbvkIHxL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the ph level of jacobs kronung coffee? looking for a low acid option and i loved this coffee while stationed in germany.** A: Low. I know the test. But no need. Current chemotherapy patient if the PH was high i couldn't drink. Great coffee if you like it to the limit. Study how to make it. **Q: Are these beans actually imported from Germany? Is the writing on the bag in German?** A: Yes, it is from Germany. And, the writing on the bag is in German. Love the coffee! **Q: Is this coffee made in germany or somwhere in european union? what is the bar code?** A: I usually don't answer questions such as yours, but you made me curious 🤔....so, I unboxed my latest monthly delivery and took a peek. I will say this....THANK GOD there's no manufacturing of this here in the US, bc we would figure out a way to screw this up somehow.....made in The Netherlands, just like the ones you buy in Germany/the Motherland. I buy the 6 pack as monthly delivery and that explains why it's sometimes late with delivery, bc they can't get it over here. So, I hope this answers your questions.....the actual address is: Jacobs Douwe Egberts Oosrerdoksstrat 30 1011 DK Amsterdam The 🇳🇱 Netherlands 😇 **Q: Is it pure Aarabica, or mix with Robusta?** A: It is a mixture and very good coffee for the price! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Makes a Great Cup of Coffee *by J***D on June 20, 2025* This brand of coffee is one of our favorites.
