I run a chain thru it and tie it off to the fork mast. **Q: Do I have to drill holes in my forks to use this?** A: If your forks do not already have holes in them then yes you do. **Q: Is Forklift Trailer Hitch slippery?** A: I wouldn't say slippery. We used it to move around a trailer loaded with cut fire wood. They were pretty heavy loads. It does kind of rock back and forth when maneuvering but stays securely attached as it should. We are happy and satisfied with ours. It does its job. I'm impressed *by A***X on August 9, 2022* Just received the Pallet Forks Trailer Hitch Adapter Attachment today and haven't even been able to use it since the pallet forks for my tractor haven't arrived yet. So . . . . these are just initial observations.The attachment arrived wrapped in a single layer of bubble wrap inside a pretty flimsy cardboard box. That box was pretty beat up by the time it got here a few days late. Not to worry: this thing appears to be figuratively and literally bulletproof.It is made out of 1/2" steel plate. All the welds are clean. The fit and finish is way better than I expected.The specs list the weight as 3.9 lbs which I figured was a mis-print. However I did not figure the weight to be off by a factor of 10. As the pictures show, the weight, with hardware, is 41.6 lbs. . . . . which would explain why the box was beat up from handling. I can see that the welded on handles are definitely needed to handle this thing.All in all this looks to be money well spent. If need be I will update the review as I use the attachment.
