Having two in the pack is brilliant — one lives in my toolbox and the other in the car, so I’m never caught short when I need hands-free light.The brightness is excellent. With 150 lumens, it’s more than enough for walking paths at night, checking under the sink or rooting around in the loft. You get several lighting modes — high, low, red light, and red strobe — all of which are genuinely practical and not just gimmicks.The beam itself is broad and evenly spread — not too tight like a spotlight, which makes it great for general tasks. On high setting, it lights up a good area ahead of you for walking or working, and the red light is surprisingly effective for preserving night vision or avoiding disturbing others.The headband is stretchy and adjustable — fits comfortably over bare heads, hats, or even a bike helmet. The torch body is lightweight so it doesn’t bounce or slide around while you’re moving. It pivots up and down, which is super handy for adjusting the beam without having to tilt your whole head.Each unit takes three AAA batteries (not included), and battery life so far has been very good — several hours of continuous use with no dimming.
