Review: Great tone/feel easy to bend. - I like these strings very much. Unlike other reviewers, mine came bundled in 2s and were a step ahead in quality compared to Elixir strings which I used before this. They really feel great. I've got them a half tone down in Eb tuning and that just makes them better. The best strings on the planet.
Review: Expensive but durable - I usually go for D'Addario NYXL strings, which are the best in my opinion. However, they rust very fast in the hot and humid Indian weather so I decided to try these. The coating makes playing feel smooth. There is no muddiness in the tone. After 1 month of regular use in the monsoon season I see no sign of rust. However I will have to observe for a couple more months before I give my verdict. The NYXLs last at least 3 months. Hope the price is justified...

**Q: Am i able to get a replacement for my g string for 09/46, i just got my order yesterday, also my g string snapped.**
A: Argh! I hate when a new string breaks! 

You probably can order a single string, but it's usually more "cost effective" to order another complete set of strings.

You might want to check w/ a local music store; they may offer you a better price on single strings.

**Q: I use nyxl’s & love them. how do these feel compared to nyxls? are they stiffer from the coating?**
A: No, they feel like normal strings. And they lasted a lot longer.

**Q: are they supposed to be slippery? I am trying to learn guitar but trying a D chord results in my 3rd finger sliding**
A: According to D'Addario ... "XT strings feature an extended lifespan treatment on every string in the set, preserving the natural tone and feel of uncoated strings".
Personally, I don't find them noticeably 'slippery'. I put mine on around December 10th, 2019 and they still feel clean & smooth. These are the first coated string I have tried. I understand other brands may be more 'slippery' than these. I can't exactly see what you are trying to do, so I can't comment on that.

**Q: Do either the xte1149 or the xse1149 have a wound g string (.018)?**

These were perfect. Lower strings were sounding heavy af and higher strings were easy to bend.
