Review: Cool Pins! - Excellent pins, very small heads though. With the glass heads, the pin itself is definitely more prone to bending than the glass heads. I've inserted them into a pretty rough project (they were inserted and punched through plastic), so it's a good sign that they hold up well. Never had a pin head break and I've only had one pin bend so far out of the whole bunch and I've used most of them. Worked out for me just fine. Very happy with them.

**Q: The description sounds like there are two lengths of pins, is that the case?**
A: No, they are all about the same length, but honestly they are very poor quality. The package that came for me was not even Wright's, and all the heads were a different size - and the pins were dull. :(

A: They were medium but they did not come as shown, they were not wrigthts, were on a round plastic disk, heads were pearlized plastic.

**Q: Are the heads actually glass?  They look plastic.**
A: The heads are glass. Very tiny. And break off easily.

Excellent pins, very small heads though. With the glass heads, the pin itself is definitely more prone to bending than the glass heads. I've inserted them into a pretty rough project (they were inserted and punched through plastic), so it's a good sign that they hold up well. Never had a pin head break and I've only had one pin bend so far out of the whole bunch and I've used most of them. Worked out for me just fine. Very happy with them.

These are more expensive than your standard pins but they are worth it. They go into your fabric like butter. They are also a little longer than standard pins which is helpful. Time will tell but my old pins often shed their plastic bulbs on the end making them harder to use. I don't think that will happen with these.
