Got mixed-age kids used to jumping by holding it still and doing a reverse limbo game. It's really lightweight, which might be good for kids turning it, and certainly makes it more portable, but it feels a little weird since I'm used to the weighted plastic bead rope type from PE at school.

Fun colored jump rope. Glad I looked at reviews saying to choose a rope without handles--it's easy to turn or tie around a pole. Got mixed-age kids used to jumping by holding it still and doing a reverse limbo game. It's really lightweight, which might be good for kids turning it, and certainly makes it more portable, but it feels a little weird since I'm used to the weighted plastic bead rope type from PE at school.

Heavy duty like a traditional jump rope. Hard to find a good jump rope bc they’re all made of plastic. This is also plastic however it is heavier and can work for jump rope unlike other ropes. Color fades drastically if it gets wet. Easy for my 5 year old to jump in but difficult to tie one end to a tree for me to use with him and my 3 year old and not another adult.
