Review: Non toxic cleaner that gets the job done in just minutes! - Formula 420 works so good! It really does only take a minute or two and the gunk comes right off your pieces. It smells good so you don't even notice how nasty your glass is. If you are cleaning a bong or bubbler, you can pour this product right into your piece. Make sure you give the bottle a little squeeze to get some of the salt out of the bottle. If you don't make sure you shake this up, you will end up using a lot of the fluid and end up with a bunch of salt solution in the bottle. Shake it up often and give it a squeeze. When it is in your piece, plug the holes with your hands or fingers and shake it around. If you have thick junk on your piece, you can get some tools and scrape it off after using this solution for 30 seconds. It loosens the chunks up and they scrape off very easily. After you scrape the big chunks, keep shaking it around. You can put your smaller pieces in a ziplock bag and shake those around in there. The solution gets gross looking but you really can use it for quite awhile-you don't have to use new solution just because it's gross. Thankfully, it can be black and chunky but it doesn't smell bad. This solution overpowers any gross smell from your pieces. AND it's non toxic!! When you're done cleaning, just give your pieces a good couple of rinses. and dry. When you can't smell the solution anymore, you are done rinsing. At this point your hands might have some funk on them. You can use the solution the get the stickiness off your hand or I like to use lemon essential oil. That works great for removing stickiness. I put several drops of lemon oil in the palm of my hand and run my brushes through my palm to clean them. The price here on desertcart can't be beat! Been using Formula 420 for years. I pour it directly into my bongs -- just a few drops -- add hot water, seal off the ends with Hemper caps, shake vigorously until the salt gets foamy, wipe off residue with a brush, and rinse. Voila! Good as new, again. For smaller glassware, i use a ziploc. This does the job, within reason. Deeply-encrusted gunky resin may need to soak a bit; for that, they make Fomula 410, which they may have renamed Formula 420 Clean N Soak or something like that. You will need bottle brushes to wipe away residue once it's loosened up. For bowls with honeycomb screens, use a paperclip and an isopropyl alcohol pad. This stuff is real simple, rubbing alcohol and epsom salt. Hot water "activates" the salt when shaken. It works near-instantaneously on light to medium-duty tasks. And a little goes a long way, so it's fairly economical too. \
