We don't use as much as suggested but we do about one container for 15 lbs of food. Our three cats LOVE the taste of this stuff. It kind of smells meaty or at least meaty seasoning-ish. Our male cat thought it smelled so good that he tried to eat his way through the lid, to no avail!I had always thought that tuna/fish was the culprit esp for male cats but as far as I can tell, it's that the fish turns their urine more basic (as opposed to acidic), causing UTIs. (Yes, I do know that because tuna is a warm-water fish, it has a propensity to hold onto heavy metals.) This product slightly acidifies the urine and cranberry prevents crystals from forming, keeping the bladder and tubes clean.(How we feed the cats: we have a big, plastic 5-gal food bin with a lid that screws on tight, we dump the kibble into the bin 1x/mo and add this stuff and some other powdery supplements. We shake it up really well and dump the kibble into a cereal-type container with a snap-lock lid for daily feedings. We fill up and draw from the "mother ship" about once a month or so and the "escape pod" is the cereal/feeder we fill up from the mother ship, maybe once a week and use to dispense daily feedings.) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pala Tech product is great! *by M***G on January 10, 2021* Product is awesome.
