I thought i would never have to use them. But as water from a cloud burst came into my garage I used all 10. The water came in so fast I just put them down as they came without soaking them first. They inflated right up and within 5 minutes stopped the water. I would recommend that you cut open the shipping bag as soon as you get them so they are easier to get to, I keep the bag closed with a clip, but if you need them in a hurry you do not have to mess with the bag. I bought 20 more to have on hand. The binding on the sides also helped.
