They work just like a regular highlighter but draw like a crayon. They are much smoother and there is no missed spots like a regular highlighter. **Q: how long is the actual yellow gel part? Pic indicates only about an inch?** A: I would say at least 3 inches... didn't wind mine out the whole way in case in wouldn't go back in. :-b The gel wears down fairly quickly but there appears to be quite a bit in each pen. **Q: Is this good for thin bible paper?** A: I use this in my Bible all the time! It doesn't bleed through but as you know Bible paper is thin so I do feel like you can see it a little if you are on the opposite side of the page. I thought they were futuristic that I’ve never seen anything like that before and they were so amazing and there’s so much better than the ink highlighters because they don’t bleed, they don’t make the ink bleed and I was preparing for a court case last month and I just knew that if I started using an ink highlighter oh my black ink would just bleed so I started googling Korean gel highlighters and of course I couldn’t find any but I found these and while they are not as affordable as the Korean ones because the Korean ones were like a dollar this steel was a good purchase because they are the same high-quality the same color. It’s amazing. I love them.
