A: It's a primer so you makeup last longer and it provides a smooth surface for you makeup.  Not a fix for fine lines

**Q: Does this dry to a matte finish?**
A: yes it does - I like it very much.

**Q: It is 1oz or 1.76oz?**
A: It’s 1 oz. Great price too. I paid $40 for this at Ulta the last time so I would grab this if I were you. It  does last a very long time. Even if you think the tube is empty, you can cut it open and scoop more out and put it into a small screw top container. You’d be surprised how much is left.
