However I don't know the size of the top round piece of wood. If the top round piece is bigger then 6 inches/152.5mm it may tip if the weight of the items on it were not equalized. **Q: Could you use this to swivel a stool?** A: I bought 4 of these to use in some bar stools. Way too flimsy even though it says it will support 300 lbs. I weigh 160 and it bent immediately. I wouldn't recommend these for anything other than a lazy susan. **Q: What is the distance between the holes diagonally? It's durable and we haven't had a problem out of it, but it was difficult to attach to the item I was using it for.
