Review: Doesn't seem to work fully. - I was finally able to get my car to the dealer to program the new Key Fob and it works for unlocking/locking the doors, but it will not transmit the signal to the ignition like my original. So every time I get in the car it states key not detected and you have to touch it to the start button to get he error to go away. And of course this happened a few days after the return window closed!

A: Yes, but it first has to be programmed by the car dealer or a locksmith shop that has that capability.  I had the Nissan dealer program mine, and it works exactly like the factory one.

Nissan was going to charge me over $450 for a new fob and programming, but I bought this fob and IT WORKED. I bought the fob for my 2012 Nissan Juke and made sure the model number etc. matched, and made an appointment with my dealership. I was told over the phone, and in person, there was a 50/50 shot they can program it. Well, they could program it!!! I was so skeptical but took a leap of faith and I'm so glad I did.
