The strap is your standard 1" polypro webbing, probably last forever. But not in the same league as the equivalent from Maxpedition. *by G***S on 3 July 2024* Probably like a lot of people, I was hoping to save some money over the Maxpedition Water Bottle Pouch. This TsunNee version is perfectly adequate. But I ended up returning it and paying the extra for the Maxpedition for two reasons. The first is that the TsunNee is a little smaller than the more expensive Maxpedition pouch, and I did not want to strain the zipper. But the main reason is that the TsunNee pouch does not have an inner liner, like the Maxpedition. Meaning the rivets that secure the two Molle belt/pack straps are uncovered, and they would have scratched up the metal Sigg water bottle I wanted to carry.
