Not plastic for sure. This chair is strong. Great buy. With knobs to tighten you are comfortable with your child in it. **Q: How much of a lip (how many inches from the edge inwards) on the table is required for the clamps to be secured?** A: I have a table that only has a 2inc lip, this chair has been safe. Baby is 21lbs. Can't respond with more info than that. Hope that helps. **Q: My daughter is two, can she sit in this chair?** A: Absolutely, it’s deep and wide enough. Folds up, I absolutely love mine! Washes well too! **Q: what is the weight limit for this chair?** A: 37 pounds ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality *by K***Y on January 31, 2026* Easy to use take a part and clean. Very sturdy and stable. Helped create space in our small home. Love the pocket in the back overall good quality and design. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ may seem silly but it’s a MUST have for kiddos *by M***K on August 25, 2025* I LOVE THIS!! I wish i had bought this sooner! It is so easy to use/remove, super easy to travel with, and great quality! You do have to be cautious on what type of table/material you choose to put it on BUT it tells you what is suitable and what isn’t. I love that it doesn’t take up a ton of space and it’s a great option for grandparents! I feel very comfortable putting my daughter in it and she loves it too! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Update to my origianl review *by L***E on July 16, 2022* Several weeks ago, I submitted a bad review because after only using the product 4 times (and incidentally loving the product itself), when part of it cracked and I felt it was no longer safe to use. I was not able to contact the manufacturer via phone number listed on the product box (no answer) or email to their customer service as I was hoping to be able to be eligible for the 12-month part replacement warranty. I was so discouraged at not being able to get a hold of the manufacturer (Toogle) and them not returning an email after 3 weeks, that I submitted my review as I felt it was no longer safe to use the product. Within a day, I received an email via amazon from the vendor Twodogs, that was who I purchased it from through amazon. We exchanged emails, and they sent replacement parts! Thank you to Twodogs for having wonderful customer service in resolving my issue! ## Frequently Bought Together - Hook on High Chair: High Chair for Babies and Toddlers 6-36 Months, Portable and Foldable High Chair for Home and Travel, Baby Feeding Chair, Setup in Seconds - Includes Carry Bag (Grey) - PandaEar Set of 3 Silicone Baby Bibs Waterproof, Soft, Unisex, 10-72 Months (Brown/Blue/Green) - NETANY Silicone Baby Feeding Spoons, First Stage Infant Soft-Tip Easy on Gums I Training Spoon Self | Utensils Supplies, Dishwasher & Boil-proof, 6 Pack --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/167545670-hook-on-chair-clip-on-high-chair-portable-table-clamping](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/167545670-hook-on-chair-clip-on-high-chair-portable-table-clamping) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
