If you do happen to use up your battery charge they have provided in the case a caddy for 3 batteries so you can keep using the torch. All in all this is a very capable torch with a very bright light which can be zoomed in and out very easily. It also has the added ability to charge an electric phone when you are out and about in the middle of nowhere. I would recommend this torch to anyone who goes dog walking or just a very handy torch to keep in your car’s glove compartment.

The charge time take about 5hr hours, so its best to leave overnight. My use is to have it mounted to my fishing rod stand and point up at the rod tips. On full power, it can last 5hr, but I only needed it at one level down from highest and after 6 hours outside it still was at over 43%. It got damp and had no issues at all. I also used it to charge my DJI Action camera for a bit, which worked as it should. Its very powerful, and the Zoom feels on par with Ledlenser.

**Q: Does anyone know how about the performance of the led torch kit？**
A: This torch is amazing. You can just slide the body to alter the beam. At one end of the range, its a broad diffuse light, at the other its a superbright square. I used mine recently, and afterwards it charged back up again in minutes. Its well made, feels tough, yet is compact. I have 2 of these now because they are so good. Don't hesitate to buy, as you wont be disappointed. The only drawback is the battery is an unusal size, but one is supplied with each torch. What ever you do dont look into the beam, and avoid shining directly into somebodys eyes.

**Q: Is the beam on this torch as good as the discription says.**
A: Yes. Is the short answer. For the size of the torch the beam is very impressive. Also, so far, the battery lasts a long time.

**Q: Does this take 18650 batteries? Or any other type of battery? Or just 26650? Tia**
A: Yes, it can take 18650 batteries. 18650 and 26650 are just different in diameter, the length is the same. In addition, it can also use AAA batteries, which can be used with battery sleeves.

**Q: How do you know when charged**
A: The charger has a red light that goes to green also I've only charged it once and although only used a few times still going strong

I've owned this torch over a year. You definitely get your moneys worth. It's brilliant it's very bright. Has a few different modes on it strobe, SOS, you can slide the front bit of the torch down so you get a very bright square. Or extend to get a full beam. The supplied big battery lasts ages and it charges up quickly with the separate charger. Or you can use the adapter supplied and use normal AA batteries if you do it might be worth getting rechargeable batteries. I've dropped it by mistake it still works exactly the same as the day I brought it. It's got rained on still works. Definitely worth the price. I'm pleased I have this torch but I also like the newer brighter torch as well. But if you can afford to spend slightly more this new Nighthawk torch is brilliant. It tells you exactly how much battery you have left in numbers like power banks have built in them. It's brighter and you also get a free keychain torch as well as the main torch. You can also use the torch to charge up your phone in emergencies which could be handy especially if you are a walker or hiker.
