I saw a few comments regarding confusion about the B,E, and L contacts. They are B= 12V power from switch (not constant 12v), E= Earth/Ground, and L= Load (aka, your lighting). When 12v is applied to pin B (from your switch, (not 12v constant), it sends the voltage to pin L, (to your lights) until there is sufficient load to force the relay to break the connection. This is why you need an LED Relay for LED lights, they have a lot less resistance than a traditional 12v bulb.
