Does it still leave very small bits in the tea?** A: I buy loose leaf black tea Depending upon the strength you like your tea one or two teaspoons is enough The mesh is quite fine I don’t drink the teapot dry I’ve had no problems I guess a lot depends on the leaf size! I don’t put tea dust into my teapot Don’t forget to take out the filter once steeped or the tea will taste bitter Perfect for 4 mugs of tea ☕️ **Q: Does this teapot work on induction hob?** A: It can't work on induction hob as it needs to be metal bottom on induction **Q: Does it come with the tealight keep warm stand?** A: No, it doesn't come with a tea light keep warm stand. It is a great tea pot though. You can get three large cups of tea out of a single fill. Our morning tea cups are 0.4l mugs! The collar holding in the strainer can be a bit of a pain at times as it pops out quite easily. If I were to be buying a new tea pot, I certainly would not dismiss this one, but I might go for a more squat pot. **Q: Can it be used on electric hob** A: Yes it can ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Size and Easy to Clean *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 19 May 2025* I’ve been using this teapot almost daily for a few weeks now, and I’m really happy with it. The glass is crystal clear and feels sturdy — it’s great to watch the tea leaves unfurl while it brews. The size is perfect for serving two to four people, and the stainless steel infuser does a good job keeping loose leaves contained. One thing I really appreciate is that it's stovetop-safe. I’ve used it directly on my gas burner a few times with no issues. It heats evenly and feels safe to handle. Cleaning is also super easy — I usually just rinse it out and let it air dry.If I had one small suggestion, it would be to slightly thicken the handle for a more comfortable grip, but that’s a minor point. Overall, it’s a beautiful and practical teapot that works just as described. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys loose leaf tea. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really nice *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 22 March 2026* Stylish and practical teapot with a large 1500ml capacity. Great for loose tea and looks nice while brewing. Just be careful on the stovetop—works best on low heat as glass can be fragile. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lovely kettle *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 26 August 2026* One of the best purchases of my lifeLooks great on the stove top as well ## Frequently Bought Together - Ehugos Glass Teapot, 1500ml Stovetop Safe Tea Kettle with Infuser Borosilicate Glass Water Jug Clear Tea pot Maker for Loose Leaf Tea, Hot/Iced Water, Juice Beverage - Prices Patent Candles White Tealights Bag, Pack of 50, Wax, l x 3.8cm w x 1.8cm h, Unscented - Creano Tea Pot Warmer - Made of Stainless Steel with Tea Light Holder - Tea Warmer, Coffee Warmer, Tea Light - Stable Does Not Rattle - Suitable for All Teapots --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/166539080-glass-teapot-1500ml-stovetop-safe-tea-kettle-with-infuser-borosilicate](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/166539080-glass-teapot-1500ml-stovetop-safe-tea-kettle-with-infuser-borosilicate) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
