The Wheateena did come with a plant based lubricant that is to be applied anywhere metal touches metal, basically everywhere, which I did. I am a little unsatisfied with the overall quality of the material used and the overall design. the screen gets jammed often (like every time) making it hard to remove the auger and the screen to clean. the rust situation is a major letdown, especially at $800.
