Review: 1/2 cordless….. read for more. - Surebonder glue guns have been my go to for years. I have 2 styles, the mini with the fine point tip, and I have a regular size one. Well, my mini is my MAIN gun. I use this thing daily, all day. So anyway, it was looking pretty rough, after many years, the rubber tip was starting to come off. I decided to go ahead and purchase a new one. With that said, I went with the one I already had, with the cord. I don’t like change. After getting it, loved it, but decided, let’s try this cordless one, so, I gave it a go. I like it, but I wouldn’t really consider it cordless like other brands have. When you take it off the base, it stops heating and starts cooling. Thankfully for what I use it for, I’m picking up and sitting down. So it’s beneficial to not drag the cord around the table while using it, so I am happy with it for my needs. But I feel like if you’re buying this for the cordless-ness you may be deceived. Besides that, this glue gun is legit everything. I have never had something fail after using it on it. The size is absolutely perfect for my hand size. The price is honestly really good for how great this gun is. I will never change brands. I love my fine tip!

And boy did I !! Like the fact u can plug into wall or gun itself , stays hot long enough.. love catch drip pad !! Unexpectedly needed !! , EASY TO CLEAN ! Oh for tiny sticks not bigger ones !! **Q: Does this come with sticks? Like a few to use in it when I open the package?**
A: This glue gun does not come with any glue sticks in the package.

**Q: Does this have auto shut off?**
A: The CL-195F does not have an auto shut off.  It does have a fused safety shut off in case of a short.  When the glue gun is removed from its heating/resting stand, it stays hot up to 2 minutes for cordless work but continues to cool off if not replaced back on the stand to reheat.

**Q: Can the tips be changed on this glue gun?**
A: No

**Q: glue stick size, will this take 7mm stick for car dent removal ?**
A: MINE TAKES REGULAR MINI SIZE GLUE STICKS.  i AM NOT FAMILIAR WITH CAR DENT GLUE STICK

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Holds up to the demands of a ten-year-old pyromaniac shipwright

My son builds boats just to burn them. This glue gun has survived the process. Let me give you some context. My son has a hobby. He spends half a day — sometimes longer — meticulously constructing cardboard boats using an absolutely unhinged number of hot glue sticks. We're talking 50+ sticks per vessel. He is detail-oriented. He is committed. He is an artist. Then he takes the boat outside and lights it on fire. Every time. On purpose. That's the whole point. Our previous glue gun had seen things. It was so caked in glue, dirt, and what I can only assume was the residue of pure chaos that it had basically become a different object entirely. We retired it with honors and ordered this one — cordless this time, hoping that fewer cords meant fewer opportunities for destruction. Ten boats later. Hundreds of glue sticks. The thing still works great. The cordless feature has been a genuine upgrade for a kid who builds in the middle of nowhere and doesn't want to be tethered to an outlet while crafting his next maritime masterpiece. The fine tip is great for detail work, which he absolutely does — again, only to burn it. If your child also has a passion for naval architecture and arson, this glue gun can handle it. Five stars.
