Review: Great emergency candle, minor packaging issue - Have a couple sets of these and they are top notch, just one minor issue this time around when they got delivered the box and the plastic package they came wrapped in were soaked in what seemed like oil from the candles?? I just received mine today and noticed after an hour of use the top is hot and plastic is very very warm** A: I used these for 6 months before getting electric power. Left on while sleeping. No problems. **Q: How bright are they?** A: Tea light bright at default wick height. You can pull the wick higher for more light, but you reduce the hours doing so. **Q: Can you sell set of 3 ?** A: These people sell singles and six-packs. This set of 3 is available. My friend and I went together and bought six, split the cost and the pack so we each had three. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great emergency candle, minor packaging issue *by J***E on August 4, 2026* Have a couple sets of these and they are top notch, just one minor issue this time around when they got delivered the box and the plastic package they came wrapped in were soaked in what seemed like oil from the candles?? But I didn’t see cracks or leaks… ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Leaked *by A***W on August 4, 2026* Seems to work fine but package leaked flammable fluid through plastic bag into cardboard box. Small amount & bottles appear to be okay but definitely a concern. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Leaked all over the box and bag it was shipped in. *by K***N on October 8, 2022* I ordered a pack of 6 of these. If you turn them upside down they will leak a bit. They were stuck inside a bag inside a box, inside another box for shipping. The outer box was fine but the inner box was on its side and partially wet, the bag was covered in whatever type of liquid fuel these work on and I had to wash every one of these off before storing them. The level of liquid in all of these was the same so either they were already covered in fuel or they leaked out a small amount during shipping. Other than that they seem like a good product. Out of the box the flame isn't that bright but if you just pull the wick slightly out you can make it brighter. Will definitely be good to have since the power goes out here alot. They don't leak much but I still don't think I would stick one of these in a bag for a camping or hiking trip unless I could make sure it wouldn't turn over. Puts off a good amount of light though and dosent flicker like my candles do. Only been testing mine out for a day but the flame is consistent and dosent go dim or get brighter randomly like a conventional candle. Amazon has an amazing return policy so I would definitely buy these again even though there were minor issues in the beginning. Worst case is one of them leaks too much and you just get sent new ones. ## Frequently Bought Together - Candlelife 115-Hour Emergency Survival Candles - Long Burning, Unscented, Clean Burning Liquid Paraffin (Set of 6) for Blackouts, Camping, Fishing & Survival. - Aquatabs 397mg Water Purification Tablets (100 Pack).
