Savon de Marseille has the positively authentic scent, spring-fresh and crisp without being cloying -- not candy-sweet or drenched in vanilla, but a fine French violet aroma. The bars are not too big to hold in your hand (so won't clobber your foot if you drop one in the shower!), of course make a nice sink bar for hand-washing too, and such a pretty shade of garden purple. Guest soap, gift soap, keep 'em all to yourself soap because it's lovely pampering.
