## Description

Product Description Adjustable FootrestThree height settings adjust from 4-1/8 to 5-5/8. Tilts 30? forward or back. Lock in place or allow ?free-floating? tilt for increased circulation. 17w x 12-1/2d x 8h. Black/Silver From the Manufacturer From Fellowes' Office Suites Collection, this Adjustable Footrest supports your feet to help prevent back and leg discomfort. And it's easy to adjust this footrest to fit your personal needs and preferences. Its tilt adjusts 30 degrees forward or back while the height adjusts to 4-1/8-inches (low) , 4-7/8-inches (medium), or 5-5/8-inches (high) to accommodate a wide variety of people. This footrest also offers a locking mechanism that either holds the footrest in your preferred position or allows you to rock back and forth to stimulate circulation in your legs and feet. You never need to bend over or stoop under your desk -- this footrest adjusts using only foot pressure. A subtle, contemporary black and silver design ensures that it won't disrupt the color scheme in your office.

Review: perfect size and function - I use an old-fashioned 1940's desk as my work surface but there is only a limited amount of space between the side drawers to put your feet, let alone a foot rest. I spent hours trying to find a decent foot rest that would slip in between the 18.5 inches of space. When I found this one, I hesitated because of the price, but it checked all my boxes: 18" wide; locking swivel option; height adjustment. Sometimes, when there aren't any options - you have to pay the price. Well, I am glad that I did. Not only does it fit neatly under the desk but it is very well made so probably worth the extra cost. Although the height adjustment does require flipping it over, that was fine with me; I don't intend to change the height of the foot rest more than on a rare occasion - but rather the height of my chair, if needed. The locking mechanism to go between free-swivel and locked is easy enough to do and can be done with your toe - although after reading some reviews of that piece breaking, I plan to do it by hand - just in case (although it looks plenty sturdy to me). So, most importantly: it is works very well and will save getting any neck and back strain when on the computer for long hours.
Review: Has been serving its purpose for 12 years! - I ordered this for my office. Up until now I've had a dictionary with a pillow on it under my desk, which of course kept slipping around. Since I'm a bit short and prefer my chair up high to my keyboard, my feet dangle and I was feeling discomfort in the muscles at the tops of my feet. This is a good size and stays in place. I thought I would need the middle height, but the lowest setting works perfectly. It does seem a bit cheaply made, but I'm simply resting my feet on it, so it is working for its intended purpose. Update: February 3, 2026 - As I was editing a recent review, I realized I could see all of my old reviews. I decided to update this one because it was originally posted in 2014, and I'm STILL using this foot rest! I'm retiring next month and slowing bringing items home. This foot rest has been under my desk and I've been using it all of these years! Wow! I have an electronic keyboard at home that I hope to learn to play. Since I like to sit high, I think I'll bring the foot rest home from the office when I retire and put it under my keyboard. It may get a few more years of use!
