Review: The two included rolls gives you plenty to work with! - This gasket tape worked really well on my barbecue smoker. I sealed all of the edges around the lid to prevent smoke from escaping during long smokes. I immediately noticed that I had better control over my grill temperature and I was able to get my temp down to where I want it. One suggestion is to make sure your grill is clean so that the self-sticking tape has a clean surface to stick to. It won't stick to an oily surface. And after you apply the tape allow it to rest for a couple days before using the grill. Highly recommended!
Review: Worked Great on my Pellet Smoker - My pellet smoker arrived a little banged up. The lid would not sit completely flush on the smoker body when closed. The gap was causing heat loss when cooking and thus, it was burning pellets a lot faster than it should to keep the heat constant. I bought this tape and to my surprise, it has worked beautifully. No more smoke leakage from the hood at all. I have smoked three different times since installing it, about 20 hours worth of smoking time and it has held up great. I would definitely recommend.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked Great on my Pellet Smoker
*by T***. on July 25, 2020*

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked fine for my application, paper backing is sort of annoying.
*by Z***I on November 27, 2025*

These strips work well for my purposes, I needed something to fill in a gap around my furnace filter because air was getting around the filter, thus defeating the purpose of a furnace filter. I doubled them up to the necessary thickness and thought, while a furnace doesn't get THAT hot, it wouldn't hurt to use some high temp tolerant foam. Only real complaint is that it's difficult to separate the white paper backing from the adhesive side, the first strip I cut, I ended up having to throw away because I peeled away half of the foam with it. The adhesive seems strong though and it was easy to install and use once I got the paper off of it.
