**Q: Is the copper(?) insert removable? (can int be cleaned easily )**
A: The pot is not removable. It is made out of steel and is titanium coated to prevent metal sticking to it. The easiest way of clearing the pot is turning it upside down while  hot and give it a few light taps.

**Q: can it melt wax**
A: Since the starting temperature is 200 celsius, then it will certainly melt wax, as paraffin wax melts well below 100 celsius. If there are other types of wax, please check the melting point of the material and check it against this device. It is designed for low temperature metal and the knob moves from 200 to 450 celsius.

**Q: Can it be used to make bismuth crystals?**
A: I am not sure what you mean. You can melt bismuth crystals, not 'make' them.

**Q: Can this be used to tinning rlectrical wire ?**
A: Yes, I have done it many times successfully.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Temp setting is difficult

Burnt one out cause I turned it on high. These work very well, saves a lot of time tinning the wire ends. Makes life very easy. Make sure you do not set the temp too high. I use an old spoon to scoop the slag out. When tinning wires, wipe the resin off otherwise you will end up with a large crust. Bit of tin foil & spoon is reused all the time, also saving on the cost of more solder. I have 2, 1 large the other small. once you get the temp setting correct it works very well.
