Review: Very reasonable, great quality - I'm a fan of M-Audio interfaces, they always sound great. Headphones. First and for most, you'll need a headphone amp to get good sound levels with 250ohm headphones. The device is very slick and shiny looking. The big knob for volume control is really nice and all knobs feel solid and well made. The LED lights are hidden away until you power something which adds to the slickness. The single XLR port is at the back which is very handy because you limit the amount of wires coming from the front. Sound quality is really good and clear sounding and doesn't have any notable self noise. The build quality is metal with a glass looking plastic top. Very decent for the price, especially if you only need one instrument and one mic.
Review: Best volume knob going. - This is a superb bit of kit. Yes it does all of the things it says it does. There are many other audio interfaces that do those same tasks. But what's particularly nice about this one is the volume knob. If youre like me and relentlessly fiddle with your knob. Then you want one that feels good when you touch it. Its this one. I'm a fan of M-Audio interfaces, they always sound great. Headphones. First and for most, you'll need a headphone amp to get good sound levels with 250ohm headphones. The device is very slick and shiny looking. The big knob for volume control is really nice and all knobs feel solid and well made. The LED lights are hidden away until you power something which adds to the slickness. The single XLR port is at the back which is very handy because you limit the amount of wires coming from the front. Sound quality is really good and clear sounding and doesn't have any notable self noise. The build quality is metal with a glass looking plastic top. Very decent for the price, especially if you only need one instrument and one mic.

I've been able to drive a Shure SM7B no problem with this. Super good quality and a great tool to have. Just want to share a funny story though and it was totally my fault. Not at all to blame to M-Audio - but I got the interface and couldn't hear myself at all. The big dial is the master volume dial and somehow my brain did not process that it even existed. I had spent 6 hours trying to get the interface to work when the master volume dial was equal to 0%. I don't know what I was thinking at the time but felt it was extremely funny to share. I guess it's one of those times where you had to experience the idiocy of it all.
