To know what is right, safe and quality for your children is a huge worry and we ended up opting for the tried and tested Maxi-Cosi Kore i-Size. The seat is brilliant, the Isofix has a tight ratchet which allows the car seat to hug the seat and not move. The seatbelt doesn't catch and is easy for our 4-year-old's to put on and take off. I highly recommend these seats as a dad of 5 (we bought 3). They are sturdy, well built and comfortable and most importantly safe. All though they do have a hefty price tag (when compared to the budget seats) they still represent excellent value as the children will probably use then for 3 - 5 years, An absolute safe bet if you are unsure - you will be very happy with the seats for your precious children. But sure, it'll leave marks on leather after prolonged use. **Q: Is the backrest meant to move? When installed correctly in my car, the back rest seems to be able to tilt forward slightly. Is this normal?** A: Mine does this also. I think the back of the seat is hinged slightly so it fits different back seats as they are all angled differently. Once the child is in with the seatbelt on nothing is going to move. **Q: Does it recline?** A: I wouldn’t say it reclines but the back can move to fit the angle of the seat it’s going on. It’s a bit hard to explain but yes the back tilts slightly. **Q: Is this the Kore Pro?** A: This is the simple Kore. To know what is right, safe and quality for your children is a huge worry and we ended up opting for the tried and tested Maxi-Cosi Kore i-Size. The seat is brilliant, the Isofix has a tight ratchet which allows the car seat to hug the seat and not move. The seatbelt doesn't catch and is easy for our 4-year-old's to put on and take off. I highly recommend these seats as a dad of 5 (we bought 3). They are sturdy, well built and comfortable and most importantly safe.
