There is an insert that is able to pulled out to make room for bigger feet. Highly recommend.

These are stable shoes for my granddaughter who has never worn shoes for tye first year of life. Not necessary. Now she is going out in the real world and needs the foot protection. Took a couple of walks to get her comfortable with them on her feet. Now she walks normal with them on. Can move very fast. The broad toe area helps with stability. They are so cute too.
