Review: Better than other color dyes I've used - It's been about a week since I dyed my hair so I can't speak to longevity yet, but Splat works so much better than the other color dye (göt2b) I was using. Unlike that one, Splat actually gets inside the hair follicles so they retain the full saturated color, rather than just sitting on top and looking faded. I haven't used the bleach kit yet because I'd bleached my hair previously, but the dye worked great. I love that the dye itself doesn't require mixing anything together, so I can just squeeze some out of the bottle as needed into my own dye mixing bowl, apply it to my hair, and then screw the cap back on the bottle and keep the rest for later. That way I don't have to get a whole new dye kit every time I touch up my color highlights. Great product!

I used to spend money for a hairdresser to do it, but their color washes away so fast. Plus, most people don't have an imagination to do your hair differently without specific instructions. I change my hair color every 6 weeks. I just do it myself now. I use a professional bleach & developer (Blonde Me). The Splat brand will fry your hair if you use it too much. It is also very drying. In the pictures, you can see what I had before. It was Splat pink fetish, a tiny spot of orange right in the front, & purple in the back. It had been close to 8 weeks or so since I had dyed my hair. I usually only lighten it every other time, so about every 12 weeks. You can see what it looked like after the bleach process in the 2nd picture. The last 2 pics are after it was done. The Splat Aqua Rush is the dark blue in the front & back. The light blue in the front is Punky Color & will not last long at all. The green & lighter aqua color are Artic Fox. After I bleach my hair, I literally take what colors I think I want & put them on a white towel to see what goes best. All of my colors are Splat or Artic Fox (with the exception of some Punky Color that I had left over from a long time ago.) I use Redken Acidic Color Gloss shampoo & conditioner. I also have some color-protecting conditioner that is left over from when I do the back in black or dark red from a box. If you are smart about this product, you can use it with great results.

**Q: Can I wash this this out within a day to a week**
A: No - it's semi-permanent hair color.  You bleach your hair, then dye it, or as my hairdresser said, "stains the hair".  It washed out well short of the time listed on the box, and then it looked like he had a bad reaction to pool chlorine.

**Q: Will the Splat Null, Lightening Bleach lift the previous hair dye?**
A: the short answer is yes- the effectiveness with depend heavily on how dark your hair is currently dyed, if you bleached it before the previous coloring then it'd be much safer to just let the current color fade before you try to bleach again

**Q: When can i wash my ombre after appling?**
A: I did not get ombre, so I can't say for certain, but if it's like mine, yes. It washes out a little bit at a time.

**Q: Will this work on dyed black hair, not just natural?**
A: Yes, but it will take some time, It also depends on how long your hair was dyed black. ALSO: Try to strip it out beforehand (maybe a week or so) with something like Color Oops. The less you need to bleach, the better. If your hair has been dyed black for more than a few months it's going to take a lot longer, and It might turn out REALLY brassy. So! Have either Blue or Violet Toner on hand immediately after bleaching!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My favorite hair dye!!!

I love this stuff lol. Been using it for years!! I've kept my hair some variation of bright red for many years now, lol my partner likes it so what can I say? And I always come back to this one, honestly. I'll try some other kind every once in a while, because either I can't find this one, or it's all they had at the store I was at and I just didn't feel like searching for it lol. But I always get this one any time it's an option. It's THE BEST. I don't use the bleach, I'll never again let bleach touch my hair after a series of very unfortunate hair choices when I was a teenager lol, and it still leaves my hair looking BRIGHT red. My natural color is like a medium brown with slight auburn highlights, but my hair hasn't been natural since I was like 12 honestly lol. But it was definitely NOT a light color when I first started dying it this color, and while I'm sure it'd be more vibrant if I were to bleach it, I'm definitely happy with it anyway. At this point I've been doing it so long, I'm just basically doing my roots and then just making the rest POP more, because it DOES fade lol. Though not nearly as quickly as say, pink or blue or something hair, it's more permanent. Because of that though it does stain. BADLY lol. My whole entire scalp will be bright ass red for days afterwards lol. It usually takes a few more washes to get it completely out, but then after that it's perfect lol. But yeah it can look a bit weird for a bit after it's first done. I'm sure there are things you can do to like, protect your scalp and keep it from getting dye on it or ways to get it to come off that I just don't know about but yeah, just something to know. My hair is super straight and down past my shoulders, not like, super long, but still down my back slightly, and one box is enough for me. I'll probably start needing to get a second box if I let it get any longer, but for now it's fine, and I could get away with just doing my roots for a super long time before I'd be able to use most of two boxes of it lol. There's a good amount in the box. It's usually really affordable, too. Definitely never paid over $20, and usually not even close to it lol. I can usually find it at Walmart, or Walgreens. So not having to go anywhere special to get it. Anyway I'll keep using this unless I ever find something better lol
