A: I use an 8W LED which is equivalent to a 60W fluorescent bulb. I find this bright enough for the size of table lamp.

**Q: Is a 12W LED bulb (equivalent to 100W) suitable for this Lamp?**
A: Providing it's a large screw top fitting, why not?

**Q: what type of bulb does it need**
A: It needs an E27 ( screw) bulb. I use an 8W LED E27 scree bulb.
