It washes off easy. The mask gives a cooling effect when putting it on. It takes a while to dry if you put a lot of. It comes with a little stir stick to put it on your face. You can wash the stick off. It's reusable because it's made of plastic. I'm always comfortable when wearing this mask. If it's too hard for you to peel it off then you can wash it off. Washing it off will not change any of the amount of the residue that it pulls out of your face from coming out.
