A: No, D3 cannot be vegan as it is made from animal cholesterol. D2 is vegan but it is made by plants for plants, it is not good for animals or humans. Some people still use it but you have to take much more of it to get any results. Animals or humans don't naturally make D2.

**Q: Can the manufacturer / seller please confirm if this is Vegan or not? Is lanolin used as a source of the cholecalciferol?**
