**Q: does this monitor temperature in the battery management system?  It would not be very safe always ON -- a fire hazard.**
A: Currently this battery without temperature protection,it have over charge/over discharge/over current/short circuit protection inside.

**Q: How does this support 12v/6a output if the charger is only 12.6/2a. can this be used with a higher wattage charger?**
A: At best, wattage in must be greater or equal than wattage out. You can't violate the laws of physics. Add up all of the output powers of all of the output ports (12V*1A*4 + 5V*2A + 9V*2A = 76 watts). If the ratings are to be believed, then the input power adapter MUST supply that total power. Divide the power by 12V for the input current (76W/12V = 6.3A), far higher than 2A that the 12V/2A power adapter can supply. Something is wrong, either the power adapter is under-powered, or the output ports are overrated. Which is it, vendor?

**Q: when will these be available again?se be available again?**
A: Who knows? I've bought 4 in the past 2 years and they were always available on Amazon. Talent Cell makes other units, but in my experience and IMO none of them is anywhere as good as this one. Worth waiting for if not immediately available when you check.

**Q: Does it need to be recharged after a power outage before hooking router & modem to it?**
A: no, it works like a UPS and keeps your router/modem running through the power outage; it will run most routers/modems for about 8 hours before running out of juice; if your power returns in a few hours, then no problem; the unit does not need "recharging" ... the whole idea of the unit is to tide you over power outages without hassles ... and without your router & modem losing power (or having to wait for recharging) ... I've had 4 of these running for over 2 years in a rural area that has frequent (brief 2-3 hours at max) outages during every rainstorm and they have worked flawlessly keeping not only my modem & router up, but also my wireless security system and remote cameras.

Fantastic. I never worry about not having internet during a power cut cuz this thing lasts 8 to 9 hours on 1 charge if there is a power cut. Also because of the pass through charging there is no interruptions during power cuts. I can continue to work and not worry.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value

The good: You get 12 x 18650 cells hardwired in a box. It provides power for a very long time. The bad: You don't see the battery level (or any indication of dead cells) unless you unplug the power supply. Also there is no indicator when the power supply is not connected or not providing power. My initial test when I first got the UPS showed very good results. It powered my cable modem, router and voip box for almost a full day. Incident 1: Accidental removal of the power supply was only discovered by a hard shutdown of everything after the batteries had run flat. Incident 2: During a power outage everything shut down. Since it was past the warranty period, I decided to take it apart for analysis. 12 18650 lithium cells wired with 4 cells parallel and the resulting three packs managed by a standard 3S 6A battery management board and connect back to the main board at 12V. The battery management board (see pic) had a visible fault with resistor R9 showing a bad solder connection. Not sure if that was the root cause of the problems or fallout. I took the cells out of the packs and 11 cells were completely dead not taking a charge. 1 cell showed ~3V and was rechargeable. Bottom line: I like the efficiency of this system doing away with a bunch of separate power supplies. I don't like that the cells are not removable. Putting in battery holders would have made the box a little bigger, but would have given the option of replacing cells when needed. Separate power and battery LEDs on the front of the box would make this system a lot more useful.
