It wasn’t clear if the “no fabric softeners” was only liquid fabric softeners.** A: No. The first couple of washes you will not see a drop in performance but you will eventually. The same agent that "softens" the fabric will eventually make it water repellent which will leave smears and the like. There are videos that show the water repellency of the lint trap after using dryer sheets you can look up. None of my performance fabrics get fabric softener. **Q: Is this machine washable?** A: Yes. but fabric softeners are not good for them, and some of mine have frayed a bit due to the unfinished edging. Air-dry has been better. **Q: can be used for clean a chalkboard?** A: I haven’t tried it on a chalkboard but I’m pretty sure it would work **Q: Are these good for wiping finger prints off appliances without scratching?** A: Absolutely YES ## Frequently Bought Together - AIDEA Microfiber Cleaning Cloths-8PK, Soft Absorbent Microfiber Cloth, Lint-Free Streak-Free Cleaning Towels for Cars, House, Kitchen, Window(12in.x16in.) - Windex Glass and Window Cleaner Spray Bottle, Ammonia Free, Packaging Designed to Prevent Leakage and Breaking, Surface Cleaning Spray, Crystal Rain Scent, 23 Fl Oz - Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner, Clinging Bleach Gel, Ocean Mist - 24 Ounces, Pack of 2 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/156582502-microfiber-cleaning-cloth-8pk-microfiber-towels-for-cars-12x16](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/156582502-microfiber-cleaning-cloth-8pk-microfiber-towels-for-cars-12x16) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
