Or they’re here with their families and need ideas of things to do with kids of varying ages. Or they’re staying in a particular neighborhood. The book has an itinerary for 1, 2 3 or 5 days as well as ideas for families. It has a run-down of what each neighborhood offers. My favorite is the neighborhood strolls of the el line – perfect for those visiting and don’t have a car or for those of us who want to explore a new neighborhood in our own city without four wheels. I can’t recommend this book enough and it now happily occupies a space on my bookshelf. This turned out to be a terrific tour guide. It provides pictures of the spectacular views of the city and does a great job planning what to visit based on the number of days you plan to stay.
