Product Description Palio Master 3.0 — The Intermediate Bat The Palio Master 3.0 is the third edition of the all-round, intermediate bat. The version 2.0 featured in the 'Expert in A Year Challenge', which became virally famous. As with its version 2.0 predecessor, the Palio Master 3.0 is an ‘all-rounder’, designed to execute a high level of spin and power without compromising on control. This bat is best suited to players that have mastered the basic strokes, and are currently practising advanced strokes in order to maximise performance at competition level. The third generation Palio Master 3.0 includes an improved blade, thicker and more protective protective edge tape, and a new-look cover that’s sure to appease players accustomed to the acclaimed Palio Master 2.0 model. The all wood blade has been upgraded since the second edition version, improving both quality and feeling. The flared handle is comfortable to hold, while the thoroughly-tested, carefully-selected blade strives for perfection in terms of balance of power and control. These features make the Master 3.0 an elite all round table tennis bat. The ITTF approved Palio CJ8000 rubbers included on the Palio Master 3.0 generate a lot of spin while maintaining high levels of control and feeling. This is due to the softer sponge and tacky topsheet. Players can easily produce topspin, backspin and sidespin. A free Expert Table Tennis case is included with the Master 3.0 to protect the rubbers and keep them clean before use. The metallic zip handle is shaped like a table tennis racket; a neat and stylish touch.

Review: A great bat for the price - I bought this bat to replace an identical one purchased 3 years ago and since then used for at least 3 hours of club play most weeks, plus use all over the world on holidays, but still grippy and only now becoming a little worn at one edge on my forehand side (probably due to my poor technique) so well pleased with the quality and durability. I find it suits my game as a 'senior' and much easier to control and generate spin with than a much more expensive bat from another manufacturer which I purchased and used briefly before reverting to the Palio Master. A great bat for an intermediate player, but which may also suit some experts, at a very reasonable price in my opinion.

I bought this bat to replace an identical one purchased 3 years ago and since then used for at least 3 hours of club play most weeks, plus use all over the world on holidays, but still grippy and only now becoming a little worn at one edge on my forehand side (probably due to my poor technique) so well pleased with the quality and durability. I find it suits my game as a 'senior' and much easier to control and generate spin with than a much more expensive bat from another manufacturer which I purchased and used briefly before reverting to the Palio Master. A great bat for an intermediate player, but which may also suit some experts, at a very reasonable price in my opinion.

Well made and well balanced. Quality rubber. Such an upgrade from my 35 year old previous bat! Still getting used to it but definitely more control and speed.
