Even a travel version. *by A***J on January 15, 2026* I’ve had acid reflux for years and recently it had gotten worse. My gastro guy suggested I take 2 doses of the acid reflux stuff that works for me. I’m one of those people that need to use Prevacid (Lansoprazole) versus the others to get relief. At one point I had burn spots the length of my esophagus that was causing chest pains, so it was bad. I got the burn spots under control, but despite taking 2 pills every day of Lansoprazole, I still felt pretty rocky in the AM. Initially I just took 2 in the AM and then switched to 1 in the AM, 1 in the PM, but still there was that irritation in the AM. Still I was on a high dose. A former colleague of mine when we had a Christmas get together passed on information for this reflux gourmet stuff. Honestly I was skeptical at first. However you hear horror stories about long term uses of meds like lansoprazole and I was at a high dose for several years. This stuff looked a whole lot safer, if it worked. Well it worked. From the first day to the tenth. I take a teaspoon of this at bedtime and I wake up, irritation free. While I still take 1 lansoprazole in the AM, I plan to discontinue that as well. Not sure if I will need a teaspoon of this to take its place or not, as my biggest issue is at night. No hard ship, though, it is tasty. Cost wise the lansoprazole was $13 for 42 pills. For me that was $0.62/day, if I take 2 pills/day This tube has 47 servings at $28. So that would be $0.59/day if I take it once/day.
