But I really wanted something organic, safe, and effective for cleaning our produce — especially since we prepare food for our baby. I’m so glad I decided to give it a try. This wash is incredibly gentle yet effective. You only need a tiny amount each time, and it removes that waxy residue and dirt from fruits and veggies so much better than just rinsing with water. After using it, produce feels truly clean — apples and cucumbers no longer have that slippery film, and berries stay fresh longer.I love that it’s non-toxic, plant-based, and safe enough for baby food prep. Knowing I’m not using harsh chemicals gives me peace of mind. The best part? One bottle really does last a long time — we’ve been using it regularly for weeks, and it barely looks touched. The light citrus scent is pleasant and natural, not overpowering. It rinses off easily and doesn’t leave any taste behind.✅ ProsOrganic and non-toxic — safe for the whole familyVery effective at removing dirt, wax, and pesticide residueA little goes a long way (one bottle truly lasts months or more)Light, clean scent with no aftertasteGentle enough for washing baby food ingredients⚠️ ConsHigher upfront cost compared to basic produce washesBottle design could use a measuring cap for easier portioning ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The proof is in the pudding..or sludge in the case *by on Reviewed in the United States September 15, 2026* I was initially apprehensive to pay ~$45 for a produce wash, buy after forgetting on numerous occasions to buy my beloved fruit and veggie spray at Winco, I decided to research and give good ole Amazon a try.The reviews I had read on this product got me hooked, and I figured why not give it a shot, given the 30 day refund trial run.I am beyond astonished and quite frankly, mortified at what a quick 3 minute soak of store bought tomatoes unveiled. Look at the disgusting, sludge-colored water. And that's only after one soak! (The pictures don't do much justice, even with placing a white towel under the glass bowl.)Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and buy this powder soak, your health will thank you for it! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seems to work *by on Reviewed in the United States May 20, 2026* I wanted to find a product that would pull wax off of apples and also remove pesticides. This product seems to do better than anything else I’ve tried. It lifted off all the wax (minus some flakey parts that I easily wiped off with a paper towel). I decided to use it on my tomatoes and it pulled all the preservation oils off that are used during shipping! I used to just used a vinegar water wash but that never pulled oils off. So this definitely works better. Now, is it effectively removing pesticides? I’ll never know because I don’t have a way to scientifically test that. But from what my eyes can see, it’s doing more than vinegar water and veggie wash ever did for me. And the tomatoes tasted fresher afterwards. One of the selling points is it increases the freshness of your produce. I’m not sure that’s accurate. I did use this product on organic cucumbers and the cucumbers molded within a few days. I’ve also used this product on strawberries and I didn’t feel like they lasted any longer than after a vinegar wash.It is on the pricey side, but I’ll know if the price is justified once I see how long 1 bottle lasts me. The advertisement states it should last a year. But honestly, details are missing with that boast. For instance, how many times are we washing fruits & vegetables each week will determine if this bottle really lasts 1 year. Time will tell. ## Frequently Bought Together - Renovera Cooking Wash (Viola Tricolor) | Organic Fruit and Vegetable Wash, Newborn Essentials, Produce Cleaner - ATTITUDE Fruit and Vegetable Wash, Removes Wax, Dirt and Impurities, Plant- and Mineral-Based, Vegan, Unscented, 27.1 Fl Oz --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/154560832-renovera-fruit-and-vegetable-wash-up-to-150-washes-1](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/154560832-renovera-fruit-and-vegetable-wash-up-to-150-washes-1) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
