Excellent price!!! Good quality! - I converted .01" to microns and found this is 254 microns thick. I did this to compare to Yupo and NARA which have different thicknesses. There are some inexpensive Nara papers, but this is thicker. I have used this for two alcohol ink paintings and found it to be less staining than Yupo, but I like the staining quality of Yupo for backgrounds better. It is easier to wipe the slate clean with this paper, so that's a plus. Each paper will have different uses. Also, I had some trouble with blowing this with an airbrush, but next time will try wiping down the page with alcohol first. Also, I wonder if both sides are useable. One seems glossier/smoother than the other, or is that my imagination? Again, I'll do more experiments. I do like the price of this quite a bit, and it will be my go-to paper for practicing techniques. Also, I'll get the 12x12 and cut it up to make some color swatches which I always do with any medium, watercolors, colored pencils, etc. Makes it easier to choose colors. I also like that this is archival like Yupo. I couldn't find any info on Nara papers being archival on their website or descriptions. I posted a question, so perhaps it's hidden somewhere and I'll find it. Non-archival paper will yellow in about 10 years, so I always consider that. Review: Works with Laser Cutter, but Grafix has another product that is better recomended - Super nice sheets of plastic. They're not advertised as laser cutter compatible, but I tested them and they are! I did the "chlorine test" with these, melting some onto some copper, and then putting the copper into a flame. It did not burn green! So it is safe to use with laser cutters! So I made a stencil on my laser cutter, using the engrave setting to burn lots of tiny dots (like a wire mesh), and the plastic mostly did well, but got a little melty, had some warping in areas that have a lot of engrave heat on them, so be sure to hold down the edges of your piece before lasering! Grafix recommends their "Dura-Lar Film" for laser cutting, so I think for this Clear Craft Plastic, using laser cutter is maybe "off use" - if I had to guess, maybe because of the warping. Giving this 5 stars because it's great plastic, for most people. Just make sure to use a light stick mat or stick the plastic to a piece of butcher paper with tape before mounting it on your cutting mat! I especially like cutting a pretty edge for an elegant presentation. **Q: Can this be used for greeting cards?** A: It is plastic so doesn’t hold a crease. You could glue it to card stock but alone I wouldn’t use it for cards. **Q: Can I airbrush on this** A: Absolutely. I use an airbrush with alcohol inks. This is my favorite paper to use because it doesn’t stain **Q: Could this be used to make reusable stencils with Cricut?** A: You probably can. If you follow the directions on both the Cricut machine as well as the stencil and you're careful with the stencils, I don't see why you should have a problem. If you only want to use a stencil one time and you have packs of vinyl... try using some vinyl from those packs you would probably never use for anything else (ugly color or ugly pattern, etc). The materials is well made. For those interested - cut on 100% power, 250mm/s and 3 passes if using the Xtool P2 CO2 laser. I did not get any burnt edges.
