Thankfully we did not have leak in our shower pan or drain, but glad I purchased anyway to rule out these issues. Much less expensive than hiring a plumber to do the test. I would definitely purchase again.

PN# 270229 would not fit into a 1 7/8” pipe. It starts at 1.9" & seals to 2.17"
You may want to look at PN# 269905. This product will seal pipe ID's 1.73" - 2.06"

Purchased this to check for a leak in our shower pan. It worked perfectly-easy to use and kept a very tight seal in the drain.
