Install I gave 4 stars because if you are not someone who is good at taking things apart and able to put them back together in the same way and still work then maybe have someone else do it for you. This is actually not too hard to replace, however very easily something could be damaged and no more laptop. Keep the screws separated by length and remember what screws went where. This fixed my laptop that was really getting very hot on the lower left of the keyboard and mouse. I have not had a problem since I installed it. I also installed a new keypad cover with new letters and such. Thankful this worked to fix my laptop. Review: Wrong one, be carefull of picture and description. - I purchased this to replace a fan in a HP laptop. Unfortunately, the picture and description did not show issues that arose as I tried to install. It seems to be well constructed and should work fine (it is a 4 connector power plug) when installed in a proper device. ## Features - Item Condition: Brand New - Actual item as shown in photos(Random send the part number) - Input: DC 5 V, OuTPut: 0.5 A, Wire/Connector: 4-Wire 4-Pin Connector - Replacement Compatible Models: for HP Pavilion DV6-7000 DV6T-7000 DV6Z-7000 DV6-7100 DV6-7200 DV6-7300 Series - Replacement Compatible Models: for HP Pavilion DV7-7312NR DV7-7323CL DV7-7329NR DV7-7333CL DV7-7358CA DV7-7363CL DV7-7373CA DV7-7398CA ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07R7G9113 | | Best Sellers Rank | #2,417 in Computer CPU Cooling Fans | | Brand | Todiys | | Brand Name | Todiys | | Compatible Devices | Laptop | | Cooling Method | fan | | Customer Reviews | 3.7 out of 5 stars 17 Reviews | | Item Weight | 1.12 ounces | | Manufacturer | Todiys | | Model | 682060-001 682061-001 682178-001 | | Noise Level | 5 Decibels | | Part Number | 682060-001 682061-001 682178-001 | | Power Connector Type | 4-Pin | | UPC | 751498008770 | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | | Voltage | 5 Volts | ## Images ![CPU Fan Compatible with HP Pavilion DV6-7000 DV6T-7000 DV7-7000 Series - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71CI52Fk01L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My biggest fan! *by E***K on November 16, 2023* If you have an HP Envy dv6-7000 laptop that is getting hot and making huge fan noise, this could be your fix. Unfortunately, the picture and description did not show issues that arose as I tried to install. It seems to be well constructed and should work fine (it is a 4 connector power plug) when installed in a proper device. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A little noisy *by K***N on August 25, 2024* Perfect fit but a little noisy for the first few hours operation. Installed, booted and it sounded like something had fallen into the path of the rotating assembly because it would change amplitude with position of the laptop. Disassembled and checked for foreign objects and clearance by manually rotating and no issues were found. Reinstalled and the same noise was apparent but considered unimportant since I needed the laptop for a business trip. Left it operating all night and by morning the noise was no longer apparent and it's been operating about 24 hours and the noise has not returned. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/153756239-cpu-fan-compatible-with-hp-pavilion-dv6-7000-dv6t-7000](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/153756239-cpu-fan-compatible-with-hp-pavilion-dv6-7000-dv6t-7000) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
