## Description

Product Description Traditional Medicinals Tea From the Manufacturer Organic Roasted Dandelion RootHerbal Power - Gets the juices flowing, gently stimulates the liver, and supports healthy digestion*Taste- Pleasantly roasted, sweet and slightly bitterReason to LoveOnce you’ve brought dandelion into your life, you’ll never look at those “pesky weeds” the same way again. Named “the small postman” in Persian because of the belief that dandelion brings good news, we love how this mildly bitter, roasted root tea helps your body’s natural detoxification process by helping your body break down fats during digestion and carry away waste.*We've Got the Right StuffBitter is the better way to get your digestive juices flowing, improving your body’s digestive process.* Some of our best and bitter (in a good way) dandelion roots are sustainably harvested from the wild meadows of Poland and Bosnia. Dug up, separated from the stems, leaves and flowers, washed and dried, the roots are then roasted whole before being cut up to be used in this tea.We raise the bar. The quality standard of the herbs we use is hard to pronounce, difficult to meet, and it's what makes us different, better. Pharmacopoeial: it's the only quality standard our herbalists can rely on when blending teas for your health and wellness.Explore our Full Line of Herbal TeasBurdock, Chamomile, Cam with Lav, Dandelion, Fennel, Ginger, Ginger with Cam, Hibiscus, Lemon Balm, Licorice Root, Linden Flower, Spearmint, nettle, Pau D’Arco, Peppermint, Raspberry LeafOur HistoryOver thousands of years, humans have accumulated a vast body of knowledge and tradition around the use of plants for health, vitality and well-being. This knowledge eventually became systematized into the world’s great herbal traditions. These traditions contain the wisdom of how to use plants: the right parts of the right plants for the right purpose. It is from these sources of wisdom that we have learned how to create the herbal blends we offer to you. Review: Amazing. Period. - For whatever reason, I'm retaining water and feel bloated and uncomfortable. It's funny but something I've never had just came to mind - dandelion root. Of all things.... So I get on the internet and do some research on dandelion root. Aside from being a diuretic, this stuff improves digestion thereby aiding in weight loss; it helps with skin conditions (like psoriasis and acne) because it detoxifies the liver; is full of calcium, magnesium, zinc, potassium, vitamins B & C - and others; helps regulate blood sugar (great for folks with blood sugar problems)... blah blah blah! So without ever using this or having tasted it before, I jump in with this 6-box order. But before it gets here, I go to Publix and buy ONE box for nearly FIVE bucks!! Do the math here. I buy one box for five bucks at the local grocery store and I got six boxes for a bit over $18.... I'm sure you can see where the better deal is. BUT that said - I would recommend doing it that way for a couple of reasons: 1) you get to try a box out to see how your body will react and whether or not you can even stomach the taste, 2) following thru with step one ensures you don't end up with a case of tea bags that will sit in your pantry forever unused. I make my first cup and can't put it down! This stuff tastes doggone good for a weed! To me, it almost has a mild flavor of a coffee with a nutty base. Some call it 'bitter.' I'm not sure I get that in tasting it. Maybe a bit dry, like a smooth dry wine - but I don't get the 'bitter.' I needed no sweetner - which is amazing in itself. But if you prefer sweeter, then use agave or stevia, otherwise you're sort of defeating the purpose. So far? In two days I have eliminated nearly 3.5lbs of water weight. What a relief. If you're using this as a diuretic, the benefit of this over that of a prescribed diuretic is the dandelion CONTAINS potassium whereas the prescribed diuretic depleats your system of it. But still, make sure you're drinking water in addition to taking this. Yes, this stuff aids in digestion AND elimination. I have recently 'acquired' pustular psoriasis on my hands and feet, so if this is a good liver detox then it will benefit the skin. I'm waiting to see how long it takes and the effect. I have experienced NO ill side effects. As for shipping and packaging - I have Prime so it was fast. Packaging was neat and clean. Came USPS and fit in my mailbox. I would definitely recommend this product. If you'll research it and find out what it can do, buy one box at the store & give it a try. Stay away from big brother pharma during research. If they can't patent it or corner it on the market & make their billions, then they most likely won't have anything good to say. Also stay away from so-called research sites that have a product to sell.... There is plenty of legit information out there that doesn't require a second mortgage on your house... A note of caution- if you're allergic to ragweed, it is not recommended.
Review: Great herbal tea! - Good for your liver. My past couple blood tests for my physicals were showing borderline elevated levels of liver enzymes and CRP, so I was in search for some natural cleansing remedies. I believe this tea helped me. I have not yet recieved another blood test to confirm, but I do feel more energy at work. Whether or not its psychological, it works in my favor. As for CRP levels, it was a sign of inflammation in the body and I knew exactly where the pain was (my hands and feet). I have also been drinking Moringa tea (also recommended) but as far as I know the painful inflammation is almost gone. Before the tea, I was using prescription anti-inflammatory painkillers but now have put a hold on the medicine since I am feeling better. Was it the tea? Maybe, but the good part is that I'm not relying on meds. Only time will tell, but for those in doubt, this is a tea very well worth the investment if you are looking for a natural remedy of sorts. The taste and aroma is best described as nutty, kind of like roasted peanut brittle with hints of tahini or sesame. What I like about this tea is that the longer you let it brew the more robust the flavor and nutrients extracted. This way, I can just leave the tea bag in the kettle as I boil the water and also in my tea pot, unlike other teas like green tea which gets real bitter if you steep it too long. UPDATE 3.29.2012 *********** Since my first purchase, I have tried another brand, Alvita Tea Bags, Dandelion Root (Roasted), Caffeine Free, 30 tea bags (Pack of 3) and have found Traditional Medicinals better to my liking. It provides a more richer flavor and a smoother aftertaste in my experience. Plus, each tea bag is individually wrapped for freshness and includes the draw string. I find the best time to enjoy this tea is early in the day. The bold, robust flavor of this tea seems to trick my body into thinking its coffee. I can drink to my heart's desire (or perhaps liver) and not have to worry about caffeine. It's a greay way to get that invigorating fresh brew without the jitters.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good flavorful tea
*by P***Z on March 14, 2026*

Great quality, individually wrapped for freshness. Tried another brand first. It needed longer brewing to even get a weak tea. This gives a good dark flavorful tea quickly
