The ink flows uninterrupted over the ceramic ball onto the paper surface. We are proud of the exceptionally soft writing experience. The metallic body made of the highest quality aluminium gives these writing instruments that special feel. The fine surface gives the series elegance. Due to the low weight, the writing instruments are ideal for on the go. The colours include black, anthracite, silver, deep red, rose gold as well as the models stonewashed in blue used look and the shiny raw, which quickly develops a patina with fine signs of wear thanks to untreated aluminium. I'm a big fan of Kaweco Sport pens and have several in plastic and aluminum. This one has a smooth finish that feels good to the touch and a nice weight, heavier than the aluminum and not as heavy as the brass (unsurprisingly). For anyone looking to hack the pen, I tried it with a cut-down Uniball Signo refill. It fits, but sometimes leaks and I haven't figured out why. Obviously this is not the fault of the pen, but my tinkering. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is a top of the line writing utensil. *by on Reviewed in the United States November 29, 2018* This is my new favorite pen, it rides with these and feels good in the hand. You won’t be disappointed with this one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ German quality... *by on Reviewed in the United States January 24, 2020* GREAT EDC Pen!!! Solid construction. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/15330564-kaweco-al-sport-anthracite-gel-ballpoint-pen](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/15330564-kaweco-al-sport-anthracite-gel-ballpoint-pen) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
