A: There is no UL listing shown anywhere on labels of the reel. Also note that this is copper-clad ALUMINUM wire

**Q: Can this be used to extend the length of my dc power supply cable on my 1000w amplifier for a utv speaker system**
A: Max safe distance of 12volts ac/dc of 18 gauge wire is 10ft.  If your going to power a 1000w amp you need 4 gauge wire. 18 gauge wire is good for low voltage lights, not powering or extending the length of the power cord for a 1000w amplifier.

A: it somewhat yes? as long there is a positive and negative line

**Q: Why is the max voltage for the 18G wire only 12V when their thinner 22G wire can handle up to 24V?**
A: 18AWG wire can handle upto 48v, however for safety and stablity consideration, we suggest not to work more than 24v, better upto 12v.
