Review: ESTWING Big Blue Long - I cannot fault the materials or the finish and quality of the hammer. I would have thought that if looked after and not abused, then this hammer would last a lifetime, possibly several lifetimes before it needed replacing. Feels good in the hand, and not over heavy. I have read one review stating that the QC at Estwing needs improving as his hammer shaft was bent on receipt of the hammer. I cannot imagine the force required to bend one of these things..

I cannot fault the materials or the finish and quality of the hammer. I would have thought that if looked after and not abused, then this hammer would last a lifetime, possibly several lifetimes before it needed replacing. Feels good in the hand, and not over heavy. I have read one review stating that the QC at Estwing needs improving as his hammer shaft was bent on receipt of the hammer. I cannot imagine the force required to bend one of these things..
