## Description

3M Dual Lock Black Reclosable Fastener offers advanced closure alternatives to zippers, screws, snaps, hooks, bolts and more! It offers greater design flexibility, faster product assembly, smoother and cleaner exterior surfaces and improved product performance in many applications. The fastener consists of continuous polyolefin strips with polyolefin stems having a mushroom shaped top. The mushroom heads allow the fasteners to easily slide over each other allowing positioning of parts before they are snapped together creating a firm fastening attachment. Open and close instantly by simply pulling the interlocking strips apart. The adhesive attaches to metal, plastic, and most rigid or flexible surfaces. Resists solvents, moisture and plasticizers. Also resists heat up to 200 degrees. 1" wide x 4' long roll. Type 250 (approximately 250 stems per square inch). Serves as a great addition to any pedal board! It's stronger, cleaner and lasts longer than any velcro. Give your pedalboard the upgrade it deserves!

Review: Dependable and effective - I have used Dual-Lock for years, and I know it will do what it's designed to do very well. It provides very firm retention, while still letting you separate the bond if you need to. This is much more expensive than Velcro, but it's worth every cent! I have used it to mount microphones on classroom desks, and electrical equipment inside lecterns. I've never had anyone pry a mic loose accidentally with this stuff. When you need something with 3x the hold of industrial Velcro, this is the stuff to go to! Once you place it with Dual Lock, it's not coming lose unless you pry it loose. One caution: remember that this stuff mounts with adhesive, and over time the adhesive can come loose in warm environments. Mounted on a horizontal surface, it will never fail to hold. Mounted on a vertical surface, the Dual Lock will not come lose, but over time the adhesive may get soft and release. Plan accordingly.
Review: Tough stuff - I'm not sure what everyone is on about in terms of the adhesive not being sticky? Maybe they didn't prep the surfaces properly? My experience has been that the adhesive makes the Dual Lock almost permanent, and I wish they sold the adhesive backing as a roll of double-sided tape. The mushroom-style closure of this "Velcro" is exceptionally strong, so take this into account when purchasing.

**Q: Does this work on clothing**
A: We used it to secure Electric guitar pedals to a pedal board. I am sure you can use it on clothing but I am afraid it may be too thick and too rigid for that purpose.

**Q: Does the adhesive stick to wood very well?**
A: I purchased it to apply to our outside canopy.  Didn't work too good.  However, I've used it on wood and plastic and it's still holding.

**Q: Can i use this to attach a strobe light to my dji mini three pro drone?**
A: Hard to say. Depends on the weight of the strobe. I can say that this stuff has a lot more holding power than Velcro.

**Q: No se adhiere a plástico en interior carro**
A: Dual Lock should adhere to the plastic interior of a car. Do keep in mind that it will likely leave a residue or discoloration when removed from the interior of a car so be cautious where you place it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple yet EFFECTIVE!

Great Product! I am a guitar player, and I am constantly changing my pedalboard around. The hook and loop that comes with with most Pedaltrain style boards is great for the board it comes with, but not the best mate for the pedals you want to mate to the board. Cut a few pieces to fit in each corner of the pedal, (if it’s a larger pedal I’ll usually put some in the top and bottom center sections of the pedal) and you’re golden. Once attached correctly to the soft sided Velcro that should already be on your board, it’s not going ANYWHERE until you decide you want it to, and even then I find I have to use something like a butter knife to separate it. I even use it on itself to mount a Strymon Ojai expansion to the bottom of my board since Strymon does not currently make mounting brackets for it. I’ll have picture below showing how it holds up.
