Its unique dry foam lasts up to six times longer than competitors, delivering targeted elimination of termites, ants, and wood-destroying insects across multiple surfaces indoors and outdoors. Trusted by pros, it offers fast, precise, and versatile pest control without the need for disruptive fumigation. ## Description BASF Termidor Foam is a revolutionary termiticide/insecticide that delivers professional-grade results without requiring whole-house fumigation. Featuring the powerful active ingredient fipronil at 0.005%, this advanced formula expands at a 30:1 ratio to penetrate deep into wall voids, galleries, and insect harborages that liquid treatments can't reach. The unique dry foam formulation creates thicker, stronger cell walls that resist breaking and remain intact up to six times longer than competing products, ensuring thorough coverage and maximum effectiveness. Perfect for both preventative and curative treatments, this versatile 20 oz can works indoors and outdoors on structural and non-structural elements affected by wood-destroying insects. Simply apply directly to termite galleries, channels, damaged wood, or suspected harborages with no mixing required. The non-repellent formula ensures insects cannot detect its presence, allowing them to unknowingly transfer the active ingredient to others in the colony for comprehensive elimination. Ideal for targeted spot treatments of subterranean, dampwood, and drywood termites, carpenter ants, powder post beetles, and other destructive pests. Termidor Foam offers the same trusted effectiveness as liquid Termidor products in a convenient, ready-to-use aerosol format. For challenging infestations in hard-to-reach areas, trust the science-backed solution from BASF, the industry leader in professional pest control technology. ## Features - Easy to Apply Solution: Ready-to-use foam formulation with fipronil that expands 30:1 to penetrate deep into hard-to-reach voids, galleries, and nests; delivers precise application for targeted treatment without disruptive whole-house fumigation - Powerful Active Ingredient: Non-repellent termiticide, insecticide in convenient spray aerosol form that creates dry foam with thicker, stronger cell walls that remain intact up to six times longer than competing products - Versatile Application: Effectively treats wall voids, wooden elements, decks, fencing, utility poles, and tree voids; perfect for spot treatments with 20 oz can coverage for multiple applications in both residential and commercial structures - Targets Multiple Pests: Eliminates termites including arboreal, dampwood, drywood, subterranean, carpenter ants, old house borers, powder post beetles, wharf borers, and other destructive insects through both contact and ingestion - Safety First: Read, understand, and follow the label safety, application, storage, and disposal instructions; State restrictions may apply ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07QWMJ7JM | | Best Sellers Rank | #4,492 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #241 in Pest Repellents #258 in Pest Control Traps | | Brand Name | BASF | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (2,566) | | Included Components | Spray Foam with Nozzle | | Item Form | Spray | | Item Type Name | Termiticide/Insecticide | | Item Weight | 1.3 pounds | | Liquid Volume | 20 fluid ounces | | Manufacturer | BASF | | Model Number | 805571 | | Part Number | 805571 | | Special Features | Fast-Acting, Long-Lasting, Non-Staining | | Specification Met | EPA | | Target Species | Insects, Termite, Ant, Wood Boring Bugs | | UPC | 804338128463 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** BASF - **Item Form:** Spray - **Item Weight:** 1.3 pounds - **Liquid Volume:** 20 fluid ounces - **Specification Met:** EPA ## Images ![Termidor Foam 20 oz - Termiticide Insecticide for Termites, Ants & Wood Destroying Pests & Insects - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61X3bmACKtL.jpg) ![Termidor Foam 20 oz - Termiticide Insecticide for Termites, Ants & Wood Destroying Pests & Insects - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31MpH4j39BL.jpg) ![Termidor Foam 20 oz - Termiticide Insecticide for Termites, Ants & Wood Destroying Pests & Insects - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51UJE4CUrzL.jpg) ![Termidor Foam 20 oz - Termiticide Insecticide for Termites, Ants & Wood Destroying Pests & Insects - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41eY+b0mAaL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: It says all insects listed? does it kill bed bugs. i used a foam for termites that worked on bb in ca. like a one time use all gone** A: The rumor all around it's effective 100% on bed bugs and many discussion boards are mentioning it is effective and works to treat bed bugs. It's not labeled for bed bugs but many people used it for bed bugs are posting fantastic results online..... **Q: Can these product be used indoors??** A: it is to be used to foam in voids.... ie inside a wall, underneath a tub, something that can be sealed back up so pets and family do not have direct contact with the poison. This has been the case from all uses I have observed it used... So in short yes, but I highly recommend reading and following all instructions and safety precautions prior to any use. You can watch the way it works on youtube. **Q: this product came up on site when i going to order alpine foam for carpenter ants inside the wall. You know the part where it said other customers are looking at this item too under the order area. Does anyone know if it kill carpenter ants?** A: yes it does kill carpenter ants. I used it for termites and it is a terrific product. The ants will carry the foam backto the nest where it will kill all that come in contact with it. **Q: Does the applicator tip fit the tiny holes made by the termites? Used to have a needle tip applicator that worked great.** A: you will need to make the holes a little bit bigger - they had a special tip awhile back but they don't have them anymore. ## Frequently Bought Together - BASF Termidor Foam 20 oz - Professional Grade Termiticide Insecticide for Termites, Ants & Wood Destroying Pests & Insects - Spectracide Terminate Termite Detection & Killing Stakes, Kills Foraging Termites, Detects Termite Activity, 15 Count - BioAdvanced Termite Killer, Home Perimeter Treatment, Ready-to-Spread Granules, 9 Pounds --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/148147092-termidor-foam-20-oz-termiticide-insecticide-for-termites-ants-wood](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/148147092-termidor-foam-20-oz-termiticide-insecticide-for-termites-ants-wood) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
